Hidden gemThe best plate of seafood ... And salads we've had in Sri Lanka. Very fresh and flavourful dishes. And reasonably priced too. The man running this place is the sweetest too.Just worth keeping in mind you might need to take off your shoes and cross the water if the tide is up to access this place, situated at the end of Unawatuna beach, right by the temple.

We were pleasantly surprised, came here for lunch and then came here for the rest of our trip. Food is beyond delicious, service was amazing. Definitely would recommend

Best spot on the beach, great views, monkeys in the trees, far enough away from the crowdsWe ate here most lunch times, good size glass of chilled wine, friendly staff, good food. They promote their sea food which we didn't try but their simple dishes were excellent. We tried omelette, devilled potatoes, chicken chop suey, chicken noodles, all delicious. They even take credit cards. What's not to love

We did a fishing trip in the morning and enjoyed our catch of the day deliciously prepared in the sunrise seafood restaurant. Also the other food was delicious and the place at the seafront just stunning:-)

Professionally managed restaurant catering mostly to Sri Lankan tourists and for good reason - well priced delicious food, perfect location beach side, excellent service and friendly staff. It can get really busy on sunny weekends.

This restaurant serves fresh seafoods, they will present them before cooking. Their lobster is very delicious. Highly recommend seafoods platter which has fresh crabs, calamaris, tuna fish and lobster …

We had a very tasty whole fish (1.1 kg). It was enough for the three of us. The staff was very accomodating and the view is great. No complaints!In another review I read that this is a garbage beach. This is absolutely not what we experienced!
